Then, there is a partnership strengthening program which includes teaching sites or partners for 2024, and alliances or strengthening CI partnerships in Indonesia.
"The programs that we have implemented and will continue to develop in the future are Mandarin language teaching, strengthening partnerships, China-Indonesia cultural exchanges, and improving the quality of teaching," he explained.
The leadership of CI CCNU China attended a board meeting with university leaders and CI UNESA.
He added that this meeting also discussed various programs that will be carried out in 2024. First, CI UNESA will become the official center for HSK/HSKK tests. Second, a workshop for Indonesian Mandarin teachers. Third, an Indonesia-China cultural seminar. Fourth, funding for research and community service programs.
Fifth, the 2024 board meeting in Surabaya, Indonesia. Sixth, a system to support the internationalization of institutions. Seventh, strengthening CI partners in Indonesia to accelerate and improve academic and non-academic programs.
In his remarks, Dr. Martadi, M.Sn., Vice Rector for Planning, Development, Cooperation, and Information Technology, and Communication at UNESA, stated that CI UNESA has been a catalyst in the development of institutions and human resources in Indonesia.
CI's role has encouraged more than hundreds of students in student exchange programs, resulting in cross-cultural understanding and international academic excellence. "CI UNESA plays a vital role not only in Mandarin language education but also as a dynamic center of internationalization," he said.
This institution also serves as a bridge connecting UNESA with various institutions in China, thus facilitating academic collaboration and cultural exchange. Initiatives like these need to be expanded, innovation renewed, and a global mindset fostered among students and lecturers.
"We also consider CCNU not only as a partner, but as a brother. We hope for a deeper relationship as a sister campus between UNESA and CCNU, starting with the Confucius Institute at UNESA," he hoped.[]
